Thanks to Danova’s good cooperation with SK Forsyning A/S, we have been allowed to thoroughly test our overflow package, at one of their overflows at Bisserup.
This has allowed us to fine-tune the script over a long period of time, which has ensured us that the equipment runs impeccably and that the relevant data is generated and available at the right times.
The overflow package consists of D-Log M (data logger), D-Eye (camera) and an FMR 10 radar. This combination causes an overflow alarm to be delivered when it occurs. The camera sends a picture directly to the utility (as well as alarm via SMS and e-mail). gives an immediate overview, including any clogged grills. It ensures a saving for unnecessary deployment of operating personnel, and generally provides an opportunity to keep an eye on the overflow construction.
The script for which the overflow is measured is developed according to the “Vejle” model. Ie a standardized description of what an overflow consists of, that is, the duration of the overflow before it is referred to as an overflow, the amount of time that must pass between overflows before it is calculated as a new overflow, etc.
In addition, SK Forsyning has been given the opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of the total number of overflows in Bisserup, the total number of cubic meters, the duration of the overflows, in addition to an automatically generated annual report.
On the other hand, we have been given the opportunity to have the equipment fully tested and calibrated – all in all a win-win situation.
